Choosing the right product

A few things worth thinking about before you decide.

Match the product to the use

  • Consider whether the area carries foot traffic only, or vehicles as well.
  • Outdoor and sloped areas generally benefit from textured surfaces.
  • Tell us the use so we can suggest suitable options.

Understand the options

  • Designer paver blocks — 3D cube, hexagon, flower and chequer patterns.
  • Textured floor tiles — slate-texture and rectangle tiles.
  • Paver blocks — interlocking blocks for driveways and open areas.
  • Bricks & kerb stones — for walls and edging.

Plan the design & pattern

  • Two contrasting colours make chequers and stripes stand out.
  • Rectangles suit long pathways; squares suit open courtyards.
  • Shaped tiles with inserts create medallions and dot patterns.

Measure accurately

  • Measure length × width of each area and add them up.
  • Ask APM for the coverage per piece of your chosen tile.
  • Discuss an allowance for cutting and edges when you enquire.

Installation considerations

  • A well-prepared, levelled and compacted base is essential.
  • Plan slopes so water drains away from buildings.
  • Use experienced installers and follow their recommendations.

Care & maintenance

  • Sweep regularly to remove grit and leaves.
  • Wash with water and a mild cleaner; avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Clean spills such as oil promptly to reduce staining.

Product enquiries

Requesting specifications

Thickness, finishes, prices and stock are not listed on this website. Here is how to get the right information quickly.

What should I include in my enquiry?

The product or design name, the colours you want, the approximate area in square feet, where it will be used, and your site location. Photos of the area are helpful too.

Why are sizes not listed on this website?

Sizes, thickness and finishes can vary by design and batch, so APM confirms them when you enquire — along with availability and a quotation.

Can I combine different designs and colours?

Yes — many of the photos show two or three colours combined. Tell us the look you want and we will help you plan a combination.

Do you supply kerb stones for edging?

Yes — kerb stones are part of the APM range and are commonly used to hold paver blocks and tiles in place along edges. Please enquire for sizes and quantities.

Do you also supply bricks?

Yes — APM supplies fly ash bricks as well as paver products. Please enquire for the sizes and quantities available.
